It’s Official: iPhone 18 Series Launched in Nepal with Prices & Key Features!

## iPhone 18 Series Price in Nepal: Quick Overview

• Unveiled: 9 September 2026 at Apple Park during the “Surprise and Shine” keynote, the first for CEO John Ternus, who took over from Tim Cook just eight days earlier.
• Models released: iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and the new foldable iPhone Duo.
• Delayed to spring 2027: The standard iPhone 18, iPhone 18e and iPhone Air 2, so there’s no mid-range iPhone this year.
• Global pre-orders: Open from Saturday, 12 September.
• Worldwide release: Friday, 18 September in 65+ countries, followed by 20 more countries on 25 September.
• iPhone Duo schedule: Pre-orders start 16 October and sales begin 23 October, about five weeks after the Pro models.
• Nepal availability: Pro models expected in early October 2026, and the Duo in November or later.
• iPhone 18 Pro price in Nepal: Rs 2,59,900 (256GB).
• iPhone 18 Pro Max price in Nepal: Approx. Rs 2,79,900 (256GB).
• iPhone Duo expected price in Nepal: Approx. Rs 4,30,900 (256GB).

## When Will the iPhone 18 Launch in Nepal?

• Last year’s pattern: The iPhone 17 went on sale worldwide on 19 September 2025 and reached Nepal on 26 September 2025, just one week later.
• Importer: Generation Next, Apple’s authorized importer and distributor in Nepal, had planned an unveiling for 10 to 12 October but moved it up at short notice.
• iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max: Official Nepal pricing was announced on 28 September 2026, with units reaching authorized retailers from 1 October 2026.
• iPhone Duo: The foldable arrives in very limited quantities in the first batch, around early November, according to our sources.

## iPhone 18 Series Price in Nepal: Official Price List

• Basis for pricing: Apple announced global prices at its 9 September event. The Nepal estimates combine US pricing, an exchange rate of roughly Rs 154 per USD, and the typical landed markup seen on iPhone 17 Pro models currently sold in Nepal.

## iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max Specifications

A20 Pro chip (2nm)

• Processor: Apple’s first 2nm chip, made by TSMC, with a 6-core CPU and 7-core GPU.
• Performance: The GPU is up to 40% faster than the A19 Pro, with about 30% better efficiency overall.
• Packaging: Wafer-level multi-chip module technology puts the RAM on the same wafer as the CPU, GPU and Neural Engine. This speeds up memory access for on-device Apple Intelligence tasks and saves internal space for a bigger battery.
• RAM: Up to 12GB on both Pro models.

Variable aperture camera

• Main lens: A physically adjustable aperture, a first for iPhone, gives real optical control over exposure and background blur instead of software simulation.
• Sensors: Three 48MP sensors under the Pro Fusion name, with better low-light shots and smarter focus tracking.
• No 200MP sensor: That rumor never materialized.

Display, design and colours

• Sizes: 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED panels, more power-efficient than the iPhone 17 Pro.
• Design: A smaller Dynamic Island and a look close to last year’s, with a slightly thicker camera plateau on the Pro Max.
• Colours: Deep Black, Silver, Glacier Blue and Burgundy (the leaked “Dark Cherry” shipped as Burgundy).

C2 modem and battery

• Modem: Apple’s second-generation in-house C2 modem replaces Qualcomm, adds mmWave and includes a privacy feature that limits how precisely networks can locate your phone. Satellite connectivity is expanded.
• Battery: Up to 45 hours of video playback on the Pro Max, thanks to a larger cell, the 2nm chip and the efficient modem.
• eSIM-only units: Slightly longer runtime, since the freed-up SIM tray space holds extra battery.

## iPhone Duo Specifications

• Displays: 5.4-inch outer screen and 7.6-inch inner foldable display, both with the same aspect ratio so apps carry over cleanly.
• Thickness: Apple’s thinnest iPhone ever when unfolded.
• Build: Titanium frame with a vapor chamber bonded directly to the A20 Pro package for cooling.
• Chip: The same A20 Pro as the Pro models, with a 6-core CPU, 7-core GPU and 32-core Neural Engine.
• Biometrics: No Face ID. A side-mounted Touch ID button is used instead, with an under-display FaceTime camera on the inner screen.
• Cameras: Two rear lenses (main and ultra wide), no telephoto, so the Pro models are better equipped for photography.
• Battery: Up to 44 hours of video on the cover screen and 31 hours on the inner display, with MagSafe and 60W wired charging.
• Software: iOS 27 with side-by-side apps and iPad-style sidebars. Netflix, Zoom and Slack were shown adapting to the larger screen at launch.
• Colours: Star White and Night Sky.
